Hey everyone,

Real life has been keeping me extra busy because I got into NYU's IFA for Graduate School and am moving to NYC over the summer!  So, 2 jobs + selling a house/furniture + social life + trying to find an apartment is enough to keep anybody busy, I think.  I've been making little things, but just need to maybe find the time to post, haha.

Senior year of university started on Monday, and I'm already pretty busy.  Stopped by some of my professors offices to say hi, etc.  Starting a new internship on Friday, which I am beyond excited for at a historic plantation which was later turned into a museum.  Still studying for the GRE (makes me so nervous) and looking for grad schools I can apply to later in the semester.  

school school school makes me happy.

Hooooweeeee, this semester's been a killer.  I'm finally getting around to finishing the uploading of last semester's bookbinding projects.  TBH, I haven't had much time for making art this semester which makes me sad, but maybe I'll upload silly sketches from my sketchbooks? Who knows, it's a mystery!

I'm going to be uploading the books I've made this year little by little this week, I don't like flooding inboxes, haha.  The scanner is still acting funky, so I'll have to wait on sketches and what not which is probably a good thing since I have tons of school stuff to do coming up.  For my final project in bookmaking I'm going to create a facsimile of a manuscript, sort of.  The format will look like a manuscript and then the interior text & illustrations will be the symbology of saints.  As an art history major, you have to know tons of random facts and the symbols that tell you which saint is which.  For example, Saint Lucy usually has eyeballs on a platter since part of her martyrdom was getting her eyes gouged out, Saint Peter holds the keys to heaven, etc.  So it'll serve the dual purpose of being my bookmaking final and a learning tool for me to help learn all those silly symbols.  

Nobody will probably read this, but if you favorite something, please comment on why.  I constantly am trying to get better at what I do and would love to know why you favorite something, or if you don't like it, what you don't like about it.  Suggestions/critiques and what not are always welcomed! :]

So I've had barely anytime to play on the internet, sorry guys! I've been running around Florida to surprise my boyfriend on his tour/studying for classes/enjoying the AMAZING weather we're having right now.
